USD European Alumni Association
ABOUT USD EUROPEAN ALUMNI ASSOCIATION:
The European Alumni Association was established in 1994 by alumni of the School of Business Administration (SBA) residing in Europe for the purpose of creating an Alumni Network for European alumni holding Masters degrees from USD. Since then, it has grown steadily from less than a dozen active members to several hundred. In 2000, the association expanded its mission to include all undergraduate and graduate alumni of USD regardless of academic degree.
The goals of the European Alumni Association are:
- To promote cultural, social and professional exchanges among USD alumni;
- To ensure the continuation of professional and academic ties with USD;
- To provide a platform through which USD alumni residing in Europe, and beyond, can network with each other with ease and regularity.
Each year, the European Alumni Association holds its Alumni Alumni Reunion Weekend in a major European city. The annual Reunion Weekend regularly attracts alumni from countries throughout the European Union and the Middle East. The program of events for the Reunion Weekend is developed by an alumni volunteer in conjunction with the School of Business Alumni Association (SBAA). It includes a mix of social and professional development activities that are affordable to alumni from every age group.
This year, the European Alumni Association held its 13th annual Alumni Reunion Weekend in Bern, Switzerland. In the past, sites for the annual celebration have included London, Paris, Brussels, Olso and Cannes.
