Group Tours
Group Tours require a minimum of 10 people. Groups smaller than 10 people may join our Regular Tour any weekday at 10:00 A.M. or 1:30 P.M.
Please note that priority for tour guides and information sessions will be given to high school age groups. Unless otherwise stated, non-high school groups will need to be prepared for self-guided tours.
We must have the following information for all Group Tour Reservations which can be found on our Group Tour reservation form:
- Name of group/school
- Number of people
- Age/grade level of students
- Number of chaperones
- Requested date of tour
(We kindly ask that you provide a first choice date and several alternates in the case we are not able to accommodate your first choice due to our limited staffing resource)
- If you are a high school or community college group, please indicate whether or not you would like an Admissions Information Session with an Admissions Counselor
- Contact Information: name, school address, phone number, alternate number, fax, and e-mail address
Reservations for Group Tours. There are three ways to make a tour reservation and the first two will ensure a quicker response:
1. Online Reservation Form (We strongly encourage you to use this method.)
Written requests via regular mail is highly discouraged.
2. E-mail
Contact our Group Tours Coordinator. Please be sure to provide all the information listed above.
3. Phone
While this method is NOT encouraged to reserve a group tour, we understand that you may have some specific questions before you make your requests. If this is the case, you may call (619) 260-4506.

PARKING FOR BUSES & DIRECTIONS TO CAMPUS
These directions are tailored for groups arriving by bus. If you are arriving by car, please use the Main Entrance of USD which is approximately one block after our West Entrance on the left-hand side.
FROM THE NORTH: Use I-5 south, exit Sea World Drive & Tecolote Road, turn left, and proceed to Morena Blvd. Turn right on Morena, left on Napa St., and left onto Linda Vista Road. Continue on Linda Vista Rd. until you reach the West Entrance of USD and turn left onto campus.
FROM THE SOUTH: Use I-5 north, exit Morena Blvd. (signs will say “Morena Blvd. Use I-8 East). Stay to the right and follow signs to Morena. When the road splits, stay to the right and proceed to Linda Vista Road. Continue on Linda Vista Rd. until you reach the West Entrance of USD and turn left onto the campus.
FROM THE EAST: Use I-8 west, exit at Morena Blvd. and go right onto Linda Vista Road. Continue on Linda Vista Rd. until you reach the West Entrance of USD and turn left onto the campus.
FROM THE AIRPORT: Follow the directions from the south.
