International Admissions

The University of San Diego welcomes applications from all over the world. An International student is not a US Citizen or a permanent resident or green card holder. If a student is a US Citizen but lives or studies abroad they should apply as either a freshman applicant or transfer applicant depending on their individual situation.

About 3% of the USD student body is comprised of international students from over 60 countries. Applications for the Fall 2004 came from numerous countries including; Canada, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Switzerland, and Vietnam.
