Teacher Credential Programs

The University of San Diego offers the teacher credential programs listed below. Further information about these programs is available through the Undergraduate Bulletin or the Graduate Bulletin.

School of Leadership and Education Sciences
USD's education credential programs are approved by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Credentials are awarded by the CTC.

Credential Programs for Teachers
  Preliminary Single Subject credential
  Preliminary Multiple Subject credential
  Preliminary Multiple Subject credential with BCLAD emphasis
  Level I Education Specialist credentials in:
  Mild/Moderate Disabilities
  Moderate/Severe Disabilities
  Early Childhood Special Education
  Level II Education Specialist credentials in:
  Mild/Moderate Disabilities
  Moderate/Severe Disabilities
  Early Childhood Special Education
Credential Programs for Other School Personnel

 Professional Administrative Services credential
 Pupil Personnel Services credential in School Counseling
