Policies and Procedures

Student Code of Rights & Responsibilities
This Code has been established in order to ensure community order and to facilitate students' unencumbered pursuit of education both inside and outside of the classroom.  Stated first are the Rules of Conduct.  Secondly are disciplinary procedures and sanctions.  Thirdly are University policies related to students and student organizations.

Note that as of June 7, 2006 the section on University Policies includes new policies approved by the University Cabinet, University Senate and the President of the University. The new policies are on Tobacco, Illegal, Dishonest or Fraudulent Conduct, and the Involuntary Leave Policy. These policies are included alphabetically under the University Policy Section of the Code. In the fall presentations on these policies will be made to the Student Senate, the Student Bar Association, and the Graduate Student Council. These presentations will be made by persons responsible for developing these policies, and there will be an opportunity for questions and clarification.
