USD E-Pay:

Electronic Statement Billing & Payment Services for Students


  • Login for Students
    (Requires MySanDiego ID and password)

  • Login for Parents/Authorized Payers
    (Requires that the students create a login name and password within USD E-Pay to grant access for parents. This is in accordance with Federal FERPA regulations.)

  • Login for Guest Payers
    (Allows a payment to be made to student account using student name and USD ID number provided by payer. Does not allow guest to view student account or verify amount due. Does not require that the student create a login name and password.)


General Information:
The University of San Diego offers electronic statement billing and payment of your student account statements (tuition, fees, housing, etc.) Electronic statement billings are available in addition to the paper statements. Students should not wait for a paper bill when they add charges. Students should access their most current billing information at www.sandiego.edu/studentaccounts . All students will be responsible for adhering to published payment deadlines, whether or not they receive a paper billing statement. Students are responsible for updating their mailing address with the USD office of Student Accounts. Please note that paper statements will continue to be sent to the mailing address on record until further notice. The Monthly Installment plan will be available starting August 1st for the Fall Semester and January 1st for the Spring Semester.

Monthly Installment Contracts are now initiated on-line via USD E-Pay. Eligible students enter into an Installment Contract simply by making the Installment Amount Due payment displayed in USD E-Pay. Please contact Student Accounts if you have any questions. NO PAPERWORK IS NECESSARY.

Payment Methods: The University of San Diego currently accepts cash and checks at the office of Student Accounts, checks via the mail, or electronic check via USD E-Pay.

Installment Plan: The first Installment Payment for the Fall semester is due August 1, and the last is due December 1. For the Spring semester, the first payment is due January 1, and the last is due May 1.  Late fees will apply if payment is not received by the 1st of each month.

Returning Students:
Log into USD E-Pay. View your current statement, and then select Make Payment from the options drop down menu. If you are eligible to choose to pay your student account by Installment Plan, you will see the Installment Amount Due. In order to effectively initiate an Installment Plan Contract, you must pay the EXACT amount indicated in the Installment Amount Due line.

The first installment payment made will include the $50 per-semester installment plan charge.

New Students:
You will need your University MySanDiego e-mail address and password to use USD E-pay. Prior to your arrival you have the opportunity to sign up for a free USD email account on USD's Student MySanDiego system, upon receiving your U-net PIN number via e-mail. The PIN codes are currently in the process of being e-mailed to new students. Your USD e-mail account will allow you access to USD E-Pay, and a variety of other University sites.
